High-Temperature Steam Turbine Bearing Isolator

Permanently protect against contamination ingress and lubrication loss in process steam turbines in high-temperature environments (above 200°C [400°F]).

The High-Temperature Steam Turbine Bearing Isolator utilizes multiple features to ensure effective and permanent bearing protection. The stainless steel Flinger deflects steam away from the bearing housing while the unique stator/rotor design of the XX Interface blocks steam and other contaminants from entering the bearing housing. The D Groove protects against oil loss by capturing oil on the shaft and returning it to the bearing housing. Carbon Packing is used in high-temperature environments to drive the rotor.
