Below is a reference guide for the various Bearing Isolator designs found on Inpro/Seal Marketplace. This guide can help you select the appropriate design when multiple design types are found in the selection process. For more information on each design, click on the design name.
Please note that in many cases, more than one design type or item number can be suitable for a selected application. If only one design type or item number is found, then that is the best solution for your application as long as your application meets verified assumptions.

Preferred solution for grease lubed motors – always select when available. Note: will only show for grease lubed motors.
VB45-U
Preferred solution when multiple options are available. Suitable for all non-flooded lubrication types and capable of handling axial movement up to 0.250 in. (6.35 mm).
VB45-S
Solution for non-flooded, non-oil mist applications with low axial movement. Accommodates tight spaces.
VBXX-D
Suitable for non-flooded, non-oil mist applications with low axial movement. Note: select only when VB45-S and VB45-U are unavailable.
